This week we’re pleased to bring you another one of our future wedding couples, John and Stephani. We’ll have the pleasure of shooting their wedding this coming April, but before then we had a blast taking Engagement pictures with them last weekend. They’re a great couple and were total naturals in front of the camera. We had a great time taking their pictures and getting to know their personalities even more. Please enjoy the pictures and be sure to leave lots of comments!
*As always, feel free to copy and paste pictures for personal use on various social networking sites, but please don’t crop out our logo and acknowledge Albaugh Photography as the source of the images.
At the end of last year we met Michelle and Shane, our newest Wedding couple that we will be shooting this coming July. So to get to know them, and to just have some all around fun we had a great Engagement shoot on New Years day this year! The weather in KC has been beautiful this winter, and although it wasn’t in the 60′s (like New Years Eve was) it was still great weather for January, but still cold enough to have them bundle up and hold each other close. We had a great time with them walking around the plaza and taking pictures, and we can’t wait to shoot their wedding this year! Please enjoy the pictures and share them with your friends, leaving comments would be nice too!
As always, please feel free to copy any pictures for personal use, but we do ask that you don’t crop out the logo, and to acknowledge Albaugh Photography as the source, thanks!
It’s time to meet the Blacks. A few weeks ago, our good friends Jimmy and Megan asked us about doing 1-year pictures of their son Caden. There is no way we were going to pass that up! Caden is possibly one of the cutest little boys ever, and I think he knows it! We took family pictures as well, and you can feel the love of this family. It was so much fun to take pictures of Caden just being himself: laughing, playing, talking, clapping, and chewing on his sleeve. We were excited about the outcome of the pictures and look forward to watching Caden continue to grow!

A few months back we had a contest to get more twitter followers and the prize was a free mini session! It took a while to work out the schedule, we’ve been crazy busy over the last month and a half, but we finally had our mini session/night out with our friends Jared and Ashley Mills last weekend! We went and took pictures down by the river market area of downtown Kansas City, and then we went and took pictures by this crazy graffiti mural of a giant hamster and other weird things. It was goofy, but we knew Ashley and Jared would be down for it, and they were! Afterward we went to the Drunken Fish in the Power and Light district and had some delicious sushi! It was an all around great night out, and a great time with friends, but most importantly, we got some great pictures of Ashley and Jared. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
This past summer as we were trying to get Albaugh Photography off the ground we didn’t know who would be the first to book us for a wedding. We had the customary website, blog, facebook page, and Twitter account, and no additional money to advertise. So we were pretty much relegated to advertising on Craigslist, which was a blessing that we could advertise anywhere for free. We knew we were good photographers, had good equipment, and were fun to hang out with, but we just needed that first shot. Then one day I got an email from Tiffany, to ask if we were available to shoot their wedding in October, of course we were! We then met them and chatted with them for a couple of hours at a Barnes and Nobles Coffee shop, we knew we liked them from the moment we met. Then we got the chance to shoot their engagement pictures, and wedding last month. It was a blast, they were awesome to work with, and just had fun throughout the whole experience. We had a great time getting to know them better, and seeing how they truly love and cherish each other was a reminder of how cool of a job we have. So here are the pictures of from John and Tiffany’s wedding, we hope you enjoy!
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure to be a part of Maurice and Desiree Clark’s wedding here in Kansas City. They’re a great couple, who just like to have fun, which meant we got along with them great! Their ceremony was classy and nice, and then we got to go party at the reception, which was a blast, complete with DJ and a sweet dance floor. We had a great time shooting this wedding, and an even better time getting to know Desiree, Maurice, and all of their family and friends. We hope you enjoy the pictures, and be sure to leave some comments at the end!

We had the great opportunity to meet Aidan last weekend and take some senior portraits for him. He’s a pretty awesome teen, and has a great sense of humor when it comes to posing. He was just fun to be around and had a great personality that we hopefully were able to bring out in our pictures. This is just a small taste of what’s to come
Our friends Nic and Kristin were pregnant (their son, Hudson, was born a couple of weeks ago), so we offered to take some maternity pictures for them as a present for their baby shower. They’re such cool people and we had a great time hanging out with them and photographing them. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
